GAEA Football A.S.D is a trail-blazing non-for-profit football program dedicated to girls aged 6 - 11 years old.
Our ambition is simple: To provide more opportunities for girl's to play football in Italy. Sadly less than 7,000 girls play organised football in Italy, which is just 1.4% of the junior playing population!
We are here to help disrupt the Italian football system, drive out gender stereotypes and encourage more girls playing football!
Our Philosophy
Throughout all GAEA Football programs we will strive to follow our 3 key principles:
PLAY
We believe football can take itself too seriously and the key to getting more girls to play football is to make sure they have FUN! This is why our main coaching philosophy follows the ‘GAME BASED’ approach, which means our players will learn all the necessary skills through playing fun and interactive games in a friendly and welcoming environment.
LEARN
English is so important to the growth and development of children. Whether you want your daughter to succeed at school, experience working and travelling abroad, or to make international friends, learning English is essential to modern day life. This is why all GAEA Football programs are delivered in English and have been developed by Education Experts to ensure girl’s have the best chance to improve their listening and speaking skills
EMPOWER
We have a strong and important mission: to help develop a strong, bold and resilient generation of young women and girl’s who have an ‘I can do anything attitude’! We want to empower girl’s to believe in true equality and reach their full potential.
